The first trailer for the next Star Wars movie, the J.J. Abrams-directed Episode VII, is likely still a long way off. In the meantime, YouTube movie critic The Unusual Suspect — known to his family as Ross Fearnley — has given the original Star Wars trilogy a more modern trailer makeover. Fearnley reimagines Episodes IV through VI in the same style as Marvel's recent Guardians of the Galaxy trailers, casting Luke Skywalker as a smirking space-hero, and setting the action to Blue Swede's "Hooked on a Feeling."

The original Star Wars trilogy has been the subject of countless YouTube recuts, including an unsettling parody of Return of the Jedi as if it came from the mind of David Lynch, and a Tarantino-esque trailer that turned the family favorite into a warped western. Between Han Solo's antics and Chewbacca's inappropriately timed growls, Fearnley's Guardians of the Galaxy style recut emphasizes Star Wars' moments of slapstick.
