Is "Broadwell" Worth the Wait?

The following relates to laptops/convertibles/Windows tablets only.

I've only done a little research, but it seems like "Broadwell," Intel's 5th generation processor line, is all about temperature management; it's not about improving processing power from say i5 4th gen. to i5 5th gen.. Is that right? It's more about fanless, lower power consumption at no cost to processing power.

Or is there more to it? Like, for example, should I expect a new, more advanced, integrated graphics solution as well?
