Google will soon let you tour the Statue of Liberty in Street View

Soon, you might be able to visit the Statue of Liberty without hopping on a ferry and braving hordes of tourists. That's because Google recently collected Street View imagery of Liberty Island for the very first time — according to The New York Times, it's been a challenge getting permission and access to the island, which is run by the National Parks Service.
