Basic Win8.1 question -- possible to modify the delay of the hot-corner task switcher?

So I'm in the (apparently sliiiimmm) minority that loves Windows 8, even with a keyboard and mouse. I've gotten very, very fast at it as I've been using it since the CP.

But my speed took a drastic hit when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Update 1 (worst name ever.)

It appears they've added a significant delay when you put the mouse in the top-left corner to see the multitasking tray. I used to be able to just throw the mouse up there, immediately drop down and click a window to open it. Now I have to hang out for a second or two and wait for it to appear.

Anybody know if this is configurable anywhere? Possibly a registry setting? I'd love to restore the pre-update instant appearance.

Thanks!
