Microsoft is getting ready to unveil a new Lumia Windows Phone on September 4th. The software maker has started emailing invites to members of the press to tease a "ready for more" announcement. The invite comes just two weeks after Microsoft devices chief Stephen Elop showed off two new Lumia Windows Phones, and described one particular device as a "selfie phone" during a private internal company meeting. Microsoft’s invite appears to hint that the selfie phone, expected to be labelled Lumia 730, will be unveiled next month.

"Join us for more face time," is also included in the invite, perhaps another hint at a particular phone with a good forward-facing camera. Images of Microsoft’s Lumia 730 leaked recently, showing a handset that’s expected to include a 5-megapixel front camera, along with a 4.7-inch display. Microsoft is also preparing to launch its Lumia 830, codenamed Tesla, with a PureView camera, and the company may well unveil both handsets during its event at the IFA consumer electronics show in Germany on September 4th. Microsoft's event comes a day after Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Note 4, and five days before Apple's rumored iPhone 6 launch.
