Facebook CEO follows Satya Nadella in charity campaign

Following Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's dousing in ice-cold water as part of a campaign to raise money in the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has done the same.

"That was really cold," he said, after emptying the bucket over his own head.

Those who take the ice bucket challenge get to call out three people either to follow suit within 24 hours or donate to the ALS foundation (or both), and Zuckerberg made some high-profile choices: colleague and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. Zuck himself was challenged by New Jersey governor Chris Christie, who also nominated Senator Cory Booker and The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
