We've known for some time that Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch will include Qi wireless charging, but Italian blog Mister Gadget has given us a first look at how exactly that'll work. A small dock will hold the Moto 360 in place, allowing it to charge on your bedside table or desk while keeping the display visible and level. There's also a neat animation that consists of a blue circle that slowly fills as the watch charges. It seems like a good alternative to finicky charging cables, but we'll have to reserve judgement until trying the dock for ourselves.

Also in Mister Gadget's post are a few other details about the upcoming smartwatch. According to the site, its battery lasts for over two days, it will include IP67 certification, meaning it's dust and water resistant, and it will also have an optical heart rate sensor and pedometer functions. The Moto 360 is still expected to release this summer, meaning an actual launch date should be imminent.
