YouTube’s most popular creator, Swedish sensation PewDiePie, followed through on his promise and deleted his channel after reaching 50 million subscribers. Not his main channel of course, that’s how he makes a living, but a second channel he started back in October. Gotcha!

PewDiePie took some time to roast the media for covering his prank. We probably should have known better. Claims about quitting, leaving, or deleting yourself from YouTube are usually not what they seem.

Oh well. There’s always 100 million.
