We've been slowly learning new details about the upcoming second season of Mr. Robot, and now we know when we can watch it. Variety reports that the show will return to the USA Network on July 13th, and given the way the first season ended, it will have plenty of questions to answer right off the bat.

The show was a bit of surprise success for USA, who previewed it last year at SXSW as part of the network's larger brand makeover. Following the exploits of a disaffected, paranoid hacker named Elliot (Rami Malek) as he joins forces with the titular Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and his crew of hackers, the show won critical praise and earned a number of awards, including Golden Globes for best television drama and a supporting actor award for Slater.

What was universally agreed upon was that Mr. Robot represented the emergence of a new, fresh, creative voice in the form of series creator Sam Esmail. The new season should represent an even more fully-realized version of Esmail's vision: he's set to direct all 10 episodes.
