Amazon has expanded its free same-day delivery service to 11 more metropolitan areas, bringing the total number of US regions served by the Prime feature to 27. Prime customers in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Nashville, Tucson, among others, will now be able to get free same-day delivery on eligible purchases every day of the week, assuming that they spend over $35 on their order.

The retail giant started offering free same-day delivery last year, dropping the standard $5.99 fee for Prime subscribers in larger cities such as San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. Today's expansion makes the $99-a-year Prime subscription a more tempting offer for people in smaller cities, but it's worth noting that only around a million of Amazon's items are available for delivery on the day they're ordered, compared to the 20 million that qualify for free two-day delivery.
