After years of holding its press event on Mondays between Sony and Microsoft, Electronic Arts decided to kick off E3 by holding the first event of the week. So what did we get? Among others, EA released new footage and details for Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and Mass Effect: Andromeda, while additionally offering some vague promises for a lot of Star Wars games at some point in the future.

Here are some of our favorite trailers from EA's E3 2016 press conference. Check out our E3 hub for all of this week's news.

Titanfall 2

Okay, the single-player trailer was released before the show following a leak this morning, but the multiplayer trailer? That one's new. Titanfall 2 is launching October 28th this year.

Battlefield 1

Horses. Airships. Tanks. Horses. Motorcycles. Biplanes. Horses. Flamethrower. Horses. Battlefield 1 is launching October 21st.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Whereas the first teaser felt more like a Western, this new trailer feels somewhat rooted in home, as it teases humanity leaving the Milky Way for the first time. Mass Effect: Andromeda is coming sometime next year.

Star Wars

This one's more like a scavenger hunt, where you have to look closely to find hints of a whole slate of new Star Wars games from various EA developers — including some kind of X-Wing title for PlayStation VR.

Madden 17

Fe (EA Original)

Remember Unravel from last year's EA press conference? As the story goes, the adorable yarn character inspired the publisher to launch a new initiative, EA Originals, where the publisher helps fund and support smaller developers with interesting ideas. The first of those is Fe, which as best we can tell is about cute creatures, nature, and shades of purple.
