One of the best and darkest science fiction shows ever created is coming back — soon. Netflix announced today that it will be releasing a new, six-episode season of Black Mirror on October 21st.

Netflix announced the release date with a cryptic tweet from the show’s official Twitter account:

Variety has also confirmed that new episodes would arrive on October 31st.

Black Mirror is a Twilight Zone-esque anthology show originally produced by the UK’s Channel 4 which takes a dark view of the modern world and our use of technology. The show was created by British writer Charlie Brooker, and originally aired in 2011 and 2013, with a Christmas special in 2014. Each episode features a different story and a different cast. The show covered topics of cyberterrorism, gaming, dystopian societies, and virtual reality. One episode of the show, The Entire History of You has been optioned for a feature film.

The show gained popularity when it began streaming on Netflix, which picked up the show for an additional 12 episode season last year. That’s no small order, considering that each season of the original show only lasted for three episodes each.

The show’s quality hopefully won't diminish: Brooker is returning to helm the show, while the new episodes will be directed by some great talent from directors such as Joe Wright (Atonement and Pan) and Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane). The show will also feature actors such as Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street), Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire, The Martian), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), and Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness).

If you haven’t checked out Black Mirror yet, you really should. Each of its seven episodes are poignant, incredibly dark, and exceptionally good stories that will keep you up late into the night, and you’ve got three months to catch up before it starts again.
