It looks like Jason Momoa will have a lot more than Aquaman on his plate in the years ahead. Mashable reports that the former Games of Thrones star is in talks to star in a reboot of the 1994 cult classic The Crow. Momoa will presumably play slain rocker Eric Draven, a role first played by the late Brandon Lee. The Hallow director Corin Hardy will direct.

Momoa seemingly confirmed his involvement in the new project earlier this week with a post on Instagram, where he shakes Hardy's hand over a few glasses of beer:

Momoa was on a long list of names to star for the reboot, which studio Relativity Media has been trying to develop since 2012. Such names included Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans, and Norman Reedus. However, Momoa will need to divide his time between The Crow and Aquaman from here on out, especially since Mashable claims the former is due to hit theaters before Aquaman makes his solo feature debut in 2018.
