Ben Affleck just showed fans footage of major DC Comics villain who may appear in one of the upcoming Warner Bros. films. In a tweet sent out this morning, the actor-director revealed an early look at Deathstroke the Terminator approaching the camera and looking like the badass he is.

We have no way of knowing what the footage is intended for just yet, but Affleck tweeting it gives it an official air that suggests the studio has plans for the villain. (And he certainly looks better here than in the Arrowverse.)

Deathstroke, also known as Slade Wilson, is one of DC Comics’ most powerful and feared mercenaries. Thanks to an experimental serum, he has borderline superhuman strength, speed, and agility, as well as a healing factor. He’s also a genius-level tactician — making him an extremely formidable adversary for any one of DC’s superheroes. It’s reasonable to assume that the character will make his debut in next year’s Justice League, since that’s the only film in DC’s slate that’s currently filming. Of course, it’s also possible that this is just Affleck having fun. We’ll just have to wait for more footage from the film to come out over the next year. Justice League hits theaters on November 17th, 2017.

Update 11:45am ET: TheWrap has learned that Deathstroke will make his first appearance in the upcoming solo Batman film. The story has been updated to reflect the new information.
