Overwatch was released almost a year ago on May 24th, 2016. To celebrate the occasion, Blizzard has put together a pretty slick video recapping the first year of the competitive team shooter.

Additionally Blizzard will be marking the occasion with the Overwatch Anniversary event, set to start next week from May 23rd through June 12th. The company will be announcing more details on the event closer to launch, but it should include the usual passel of new emotes, sprays, voice lines, and most importantly, skins for players to unlock.

Along with the new in-game loot, Blizzard is also releasing a digital “Game of the Year Edition” of Overwatch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, which will include the base game, the various “origin” skins that were originally included in the “Origins Edition” version of Overwatch and 10 free loot boxes. Purchasing the GotY Edition also unlocks Overwatch-themed in-game items in Diablo III, World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, and Heroes of the Storm.

Lastly, in honor of the anniversary Blizzard will be offering a free weekend to let anyone try out Overwatch from May 26th through May 29th.
