Vergecast hosts Nilay and Dieter were able to attend Apple’s event in Brooklyn this week, so you can guess that’s what the crew talked about on this week’s show.

Apple finally announced a new MacBook Air and Mac mini, along with an update to iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Nilay and Dieter got to try them briefly and gave their first impressions on The Vergecast.

Nilay also explains the situation with Foxconn building a factory in Wisconsin and his personal attachment to the area.

But there is more than that! For our “This week in Elon Musk” segment of the show, Liz Lopatto interviews Kara Swisher of Recode Decode about her interview with Elon Musk this week and brings some clips from it to share. You can listen to the full interview here.

There’s a whole lot more in between that, so listen to it all to get everything you need for this week in tech news.
