The Google Translate for Android app has been updated with a new handwriting recognition feature that works with seven different languages, including Chinese and Japanese, as well as English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. This is just the latest addition to the useful app, which already translates text between 63 languages and recently added an alpha speech-to-speech conversation mode. Unfortunately, Google hasn't updated the iOS app yet, but you can download the Android version for free from the Market right now.
