Regional US carrier C Spire to get Galaxy S III, too
Samsung's massive US Galaxy S III launch just got a bit bigger, as regional carrier C Spire has just announced that it'll be offering the new smartphone "soon." We unfortunately don't have any pricing information or even an estimated release date, but it will offer the 16GB version in both Pebble Blue and White. The regional carrier primarily serves 1.2 million customers in the southern US states of Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle, and its delayed LTE network is due to launch in Mississippi in September. The Galaxy S III will be the carrier's first 4G phone, and C Spire joins AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular in offering Samsung's marquee phone. That list of six carriers matches up perfectly with a rumored list that was spotted back in May — the only holdout now is MetroPCS.
