Panasonic's my Home Screen identifies who's watching TV and customizes the experience
Panasonic's currently on stage giving its annual CES press conference, and one of the first features it unveiled is called "My Home Screen." In essence, it's a personalization tool for your smart TV features, like having your own account on your computer. You can switch accounts manually, and some of Panasonic's new Viera TVs will include built-in cameras that will use facial recognition to figure out who's watching. There's also a new Panasonic remote that includes voice recognition, which you can use to identify yourself to your television. If you're sharing a TV with someone whose taste in movies and apps couldn't be further from your own, this could be a godsend feature.
