Microsoft's latest version of its productivity software — codenamed Office 15 — will be ready for full beta in late January 2012, according to Winrumors. The update is supposed to have a redesigned touch-friendly interface and a Metro Style hub for navigating to documents — we'd expect to find cues from the Metro style UI throughout the software to make it more usable with Windows 8 on a tablet. Winrumors says a technology preview should be available at CES 2012 with the Windows 8 beta, so we'll be sure to get our hands on it and share our impressions with you.
