Microsoft has announced today that its Surface RT tablet will be on sale in more European countries starting on February 14th. Customers Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland will all be able to purchase the ARM-based tablet and its various accessories. Unfortunately, there is no word as to when the RT's higher-powered Surface Pro variant will be available in Europe, though it is due to go on sale in the US and Canada tomorrow, February 9th. Microsoft also says that there will be a 64GB standalone version of the RT for sale starting tomorrow, as well as new accessories including three limited edition Touch Covers and the Wedge Touch Mouse Surface Edition.
