Asus Eee PC 1025 netbook with Cedar Trail processor hits the FCC
Intel's next-generation Cedar Trail Atom processors may have hit a delay from their planned September release, but we're getting closer: the Asus Eee PC 1025 just hit the FCC, one of the first machines with the new chip. In additional to the N2600 or N2800 Atom processors, the Eee PC 1025 features a 10.1-inch display and USB 3.0 (on the higher-end 1025CE model). For those that don't know, Cedar Trail features Intel's 32nm technology, faster performance, DirectX 10.1, HD decoding, and the low power consumption that Atom processors are known for.
While Cedar Trail may be getting nearer to launch, availability is still unknown -- no launch information for the Eee PC 1025 is available on Asus' site.
