Netflix has just released the first trailer for Black Mirror's upcoming third season. The new season features six new episodes of the sci-fi anthology series, which means six new worlds, and at least six new opportunities to compare your everyday life to "that one episode of Black Mirror."
The trailer gives us just a quick glimpse of the season, which looks like it will include a digital boyfriend, webcam hacks, killing humans for sport, and at least one chipmunk. It will also likely raise some questions about the foundation of human happiness, so I'm expecting a gentle, lighthearted viewing experience!
Black Mirror's earlier seasons originally aired on the UK's Channel 4 before making their way to Netflix, but this will be the first season to debut on the streaming service. This season stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Mackenzie Davis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Wyatt Russell. The new episodes will arrive on Netflix on October 21st.
