The 2010 iPod nano introduced a completely new design, eschewing the Click Wheel for a 1.54-inch touch-screen. Coming in 8 and 16GB options, the iPod nano can play music synced through iTunes for up to 24 hours continuously. In 2011 the nano received a software update that replaced the prior menu UI with a new swiping method of navigating between apps and included built-in run tracking capabilities, eliminating the need for Nike+ hardware. More importantly, however, Apple added sixteen new clock faces for all the folks who’ve been turning the nano into a watch.
