An update to the E-3, the E-5 is Olympus' take on the Four Thirds System camera in 2010 -- it shares the same weatherproof body as the E-3 but has enhancements to the hardware and software on the inside. The E-5 features a 12-megapixel LiveMOS sensor, 720p HD capture capability, and, like its predecessor, an articulating screen. The E-5 now has a larger and higher resolution 3-inch display (920k dot). It also includes a level indicator, better laid out menus and displays, and consumer-oriented features such as Face Detection (which it inherited from Olympus' consumer range).
