Designed to replace the Neo Geo Pocket, the Pocket Color played the older black-and-white titles, as well as allowed for new Neo Geo Pocket Color games. The Neo Geo Pocket Color or NGPC didn't fare well during its time, not having a large enough catalogue to pull in new customers in a market largely dominated by Nintendo's GameBoy Color. Surprisingly, the Neo Geo Pocket Color offered connectivity with Sega's Dreamcast console, as well as other Neo Geo Pocket Colors using the briefly available Wireless Link Device.
