The TiVo Premiere XL is a DVR with 1TB of internal storage that can store up to 150 hours of HD content. It requires an additional service fee in addition to the price of the hardware itself, and is a substitute for a set-top box from a cable provider. Wi-Fi is built in allowing access to services such as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.
