Samsung goes round two for the 7-inch Android tablet market. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus runs Android's Honeycomb 3.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin. It features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 1024 x 600 display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, a 4,000mAh battery, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet also has an IR port and features Peel's Smart Remote App.

Description

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 features a 7-inch 600 x 1024 display, runs Android 2.2, and has a 1GHz A8 Cortex Processor. It also features 16GB of internal memory with up to 32GB Expandable Memory through a microSD, Wi-Fi support, and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.

The Kindle Fire has a multitouch-capable 7-inch IPS display, a dual-core processor, and at 14.6 ounces, a pretty lightweight frame. The resolution on that screen is 1024 x 600. The battery is rated to last for eight hours of continuous reading or 7.5 hours of video playback (with WiFi switched off).
