HTC's second Android smartphone in its roster of Beats Audio-infused handsets, the 4.7-inch Sensation XL bears the red logo of Dr. Dre’s Beats brand on top of an aluminum unibody shell framed by a pair of plastic inserts. The XL sports Super-LCD screen technology with a WVGA resolution, is powered by a single-core, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor paired with 768MB of RAM, and has 16GB of embedded storage. The HTC Sensation XE was announced September 2011 and is to be released late September in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It is a special edition version of the HTC Sensation. This particular refresh comes bundled with Beats Audio in-ear headphones that activate a specially tuned sound profile when plugged in. It also packs an improved 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 1730mAh battery, and an aluminum body construction.
