The Droid RAZR from Motorola is an LTE handset exclusive to Verizon Wireless in the United States. Hardware specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, Bluetooth 4.0 support, 16GB of storage (with an extra 16GB included on a microSD card), and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display. Extremely thin at just 7.1mm thick, the Droid RAZR also features a Kevlar backing for strength along with something that Motorola is calling Splash Guard — a nano-coating that protects components from splashes. |
Motorola's newly announced Droid RAZR Maxx features a chassis similar to the original Droid RAZR but now has a slightly thicker body at 8.99mm. Aside from thickness, there is one more difference: it now houses an extended battery said to provide 21 hours of talk time. When it launches, the Droid RAZR Maxx will come with 16GB of built-in memory, expandable via microSD with a 16GB card included. |
