Having already debuted a branded tablet in 2011, Orange UK is taking to CES 2012 with a new tablet, the 7-inch Tahiti. The Huawei-manufactured tablet has a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and runs Android 3.2, but the major selling point is its price: a mere £70 (about $108) with a two-year contract. Description |
Project Fiona is a gaming tablet, of sorts, with integrated dual game controllers. Connected to each side is a wand-like controller (think: PlayStation Move navigation controller) with analog thumbsticks, top buttons (numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4), and two triggers apiece. It's powered by a Core i7 processor, designed to play "most popular PC games of today," and THX audio, but details are light beyond that. Razer does plan on releasing it, however, and it's targeting a Q4 2012 release priced under $1,000. |
The IdeaPad K2110 is a Lenovo 10.1-inch tablet currently running on Intell's new lower-powered Atom-based processor for mobile devices. It features Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, and both front and rear facing cameras. |
