Description

Samsung goes round two for the 7-inch Android tablet market. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus runs Android's Honeycomb 3.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin. It features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 1024 x 600 display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, a 4,000mAh battery, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet also has an IR port and features Peel's Smart Remote App.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a tablet running Android 3.2 Honeycomb. It features a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, storage ranging from 16GB to 64GB, and a Super AMOLED display. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash.

The Nook Tablet from Barnes & Noble features a low-glare ("fully laminated") 7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display from LG, 16GB of internal storage, and 1GB of RAM. Its primary competition is Amazon's Kindle Fire, which costs $50 less.

The Blackberry PlayBook was Research In Motion's first QNX device and its first tablet offering. The tablet features a 7-inch capacitive display, the ability to connect a Blackberry smartphone via Blackberry bridge, and Android app virtualization.
