(Note, this is the Droid 2 Global, which isn't much different.)

When I got this, this was hands down the best phone with a slide out keyboard on Verizon. That was almost 2 years ago now. With the way phones have been progressing, and now no phones with a keyboard as of this writing due to the Droid 3 being pulled on Verizon, keyboard fanatics are left with Blackberrys and feature phones. I'd wait for the Droid 4, but this isn't bad if gotten used.

Saddled with Motoblur and terrible battery life (particularly after the Gingerbread update), the Droid 2 is still a pretty solid phone with a great hardware keyboard, a great LCD screen, a capable processor and a solid, durable frame, but lingering issues like random reboots, frozen screens and occasionally iffy connectivity destined it for an early grave.
