Samsung Galaxy S III

Verge Review

How do you review a phone like the Galaxy S III? It’s already been subject to so much speculation, exposure, and early judgment — some of it coming from myself, admittedly — that it feels overwhelming to try and condense what it means to everyone into a single treatise. To Samsung, it’s the new flagship handset to keep the company ahead of every other Android OEM through 2012, for most people it’s a device that stretches the definition of the smartphone form factor, and to mobile gaming...

Even tho it is a fairly new product on the market, the fuss around it's announcement built great expectations but I (being the Samsung's Droid worshiper) for one am a bit disappointed. Specs do speak louder than the design, it's kinda egg shaped which for Samsung Galaxy S line (i900+) is ugly to say the least. The camera is great, new TouchWiz interface is maybe best one yet, but still I'm afraid it won't be as successful as it's predecessor (SII) which took the world by storm and set new standards in Smartphone business. Although it price exceeds specs by small amount I must say comparing to Apples iPhone series successor iPhone 4s it really does give you ride for your money.

Its quite a great phone. fast speed and respond, light weighted, its much better experience than the one x, but the screen doesn't look like a 306 ppi. Another issue, can't find the brightness shotcut or widget. also i think its better to have the s note on s3 cause its really great function.

I have owned two devices. They are HTC One X and Galaxy S III. Two of the devices are great but I finally choose One X be my only phone. I am not a application designer, so I need a phone that for personal use. I think HTC Sense is the most suitable UI for me to use. I also recommend bussinessman to use. The design of GS III is really really ugly but the performance of GS III is really really fast! The way I choose is the design of the phone more than the performance of the phone. One X's performance is quiet similar to GS III. I finally give up the GS III.
