Let me start this off by saying, these scores are based on what the phone was when it came out. If I were reviewing it compared to today's standards the scores would be considerably lower.

When the phone was released, it was amazing. The screen was very nice, the OS was silky smooth in everything it did. The battery life was great, and about the only things it didn't do well were take photos, and have turn by turn GPS. The iPhone still doesn't have the turn by turn, but even without it, it was and is a great phone.

The quality of apps are still higher than those on Android, and iOS still seems to be the platform of choice for developers to release their apps. There are more quality games out there, and on the app front, Apple is still the place to be. Android has begun to catch up, and I truly believe that one day it will catch up, but for now, the apps on the iPhone are of a better quality and better supported.
