HTC One (AT&T 2013)

Verge Review

HTC's flagship smartphone for 2013, the One, really impressed us when we reviewed the international version last month. Its stellar design, speedy performance, and absolutely incredible display overshadowed some of the complaints we had with its camera and battery performance. Since then, we've been eagerly waiting to get our hands on the proper US version of the phone with support for LTE networks here in the States. I've been spending some time with AT&T's variation of the One, which will...

The HTC ONE (m7) so far has been an absolute pleasure to use as my daily driver. The display on the HTC ONE is amazing but I would prefer it to be a little bit larger, like a 5-inch display rather a 4.7-inch display.. but this makes the pixel density much higher on this phone providing a more realistic experience to the user. I am in love with the boomsound speakers as they deliver the highest quality sound I have ever heard on e smartphone. It's stunning. The call quality has been great. I would die to see this phone with an 8mp sensor camera or a 13mp one. It would be the PERFECT phone, but this 4 mp-ultrapixel camera isn't but either. The battery life hasn't been so great because I HAVE to charge the phone every night, but this is expected form today's phones like these, and sometimes I will even have to struggle to get through the day... but it's a very strange feeling as to sometimes the battery can last even 2 days. My final impressions for this phone are: it's a hell of a phone, as snappy as it can get (really fast, I mean like no lag at all!) and amazing quality in sound, display, built. The negatives? battery life that I wish it was better and the camera that it would be amazing if it was like 8mp or something.. Very happy with this phone, gonna keep it!
