My best phone ever, used to own IOS devices, but switch to WP7 due to the restrictive eco system, then realise it has too little apps so move to Android, and got me this best of both world. Pair with beats may not be my choice but is a little value added perk i would say. Super like the extra large screen and vibrant colour. Best thing for HTC phone is fully customisable.

The HTC Sensation XE is one of the better Android smartphones out there.

    HARDWARE
Build quality is topnotch as is the case with most recent HTC device. In terms of design, it's not the most unique looking phone with most HTC smartphones looking generally quite the same. It's a good thing, though, if you like HTC's design aesthetics.

    SOFTWARE
Out of the box, the Sensation XE runs Android 2.3.4 (a.k.a Gingerbread) with an overlay of Sense 3.0 UI. It's arguably the best Android skin out there (if you like Android skins). In terms of performance, the phone can do multitasking and run graphics-intensive games without problems. However, despite being a high-end Android smartphone, there are apps in the Android Market that are incompatible with the HTC Sensation XE (e.g. Asphalt 6: Adrenalin HD).

    DISPLAY
The 4.3" screen Super LCD screen looks good. Text and graphics look sharp thanks to the qHD resolution. Viewing angles aren't as good as Super AMOLED and Retina Display screens though and the screen performs poorly when viewed outdoors.

    BATTERY
Efficient power management is not one of HTC's (and Android's) strong points. As such, expect to charge your HTC Sensation XE on a daily basis. While the phone comes with a 1730 mAh battery, it easily runs out with regular use.

    BEATS™
The Sensation XE is the first HTC smartphone to carry the BEATS™ branding. If you like music with a lot of bass, then this phone is for you. Otherwise, you're free to use any headphone that you like.

    CAMERA
The 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash is above average and can shoot HD videos at 1080p. A secondary front-facing VGA camera is also available for video chat.

    OVERALL
Looking at the big picture, the HTC Sensation XE is a great choice for an Android Smartphone. It's not a Galaxy Nexus but it's a good alternative nonetheless.

    BONUS:
HTC has announced that it will upgrade the HTC Sensation XE to Android 4 in the first quarter of 2012.
