The BlackBerry Curve 9370 might have been originally announced back in August, but Verizon revealed today that it's launching on the 19th. Verizon is calling the 9370 the first "global ready" Curve, but beyond that it's fairly stock BlackBerry fare — a 2.44-inch screen sits above the ubiquitous keyboard, with an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 1GB of internal storage. It'll ship with a 2GB microSD card preinstalled, though if you need more space you can add up to 32GB. It also includes NFC support for easy sharing and wireless payment, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0.

Although it's shipping with Blackberry OS 7.0, Verizon promises that the update to 7.1 is coming soon after launch, bringing mobile hotspot support for up to five...

BlackBerry Curve 9350 hits Sprint for $80 on September 9th

Well that didn't take long! Sprint has just announced that the Curve 9350, which RIM released late last night, will be headed to the Now Network on September 9th for $79.99 with a two-year contract. That's' not too shabby, but to be honest, we were expecting pricing to be a tad less — you know, considering you can get the new, faster Torch 9810 for $50 at AT&T. Meanwhile, dates for the new devices on other carriers have yet to be revealed. Check the rest of the info in the press release below.

Curve 9350, 9360, 9370 announced with BlackBerry OS 7

RIM has announced three new BlackBerrys: the Curve 9350, Curve 9360, and Curve 9370. Each brings BlackBerry OS 7 to lower-end handsets that will presumably not be priced too high for the market. The three phones will be available in Canada this month and “selected countries around the world” in September. The specs on the phones are virtually identical, including a relatively slim .43-inch depth, 5-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, an 800MHz processor, NFC, and a smallish 2.44-inch 480 x 360 display. As for the differences, let’s break them down:

The Curve 9370 is the high-end of the bunch, with CDMA/EVDO and Quad-Band EDGE support and 1GB of storage

The Curve 9360 is the GSM variant, offering Tri-Band UMTS and Quad-Band EDGE....
