Facebook developers put Doom on an Apple Watch and new Apple TV

Some games are used to benchmark hardware's performance, i.e. "how many pixels can we throw on screen and still run 60 frames per second?" You can now add Apple's latest gadgets to that list. As part of a 10-hour hackathon, Facebook developers Lior Tubi and Mehdi Mulani have posted videos of the game running on Apple Watch (via watchOS 2) and the new, decidedly more app-friendly Apple TV.

The game actually seems reassuringly playable using the new TV's remote. The same can't be said for the Apple Watch, but then again, the point isn't to make Doom user-friendly on every device; it's just to make it be.
