I use All Access on my iPhone through the 3rd party gMusic app. I like it a lot, but not sure it’s enough to unseat Spotify, especially since there’s no desktop app. I’m currently witholding final judgements until the official iPhone app is released.
Samsung’s advertising budget eclipses that of every other phone manufacturer. It’s a fact, regardless of what you see day to day. Take a look for yourself
Now if you want to argue that advertising doesn’t matter, that’s one thing, but to pretend they aren’t spending more than everyone else is just being naive.
Developer support was not a reason the S3 sold well. Most consumers aren’t aware of that crap. Most consumers are only aware of what advertising tells them, and in the last 12 months, they’ve been told to buy a Galaxy phone.
Except the First wasn’t endorsed by the largest social network on the planet. It was utterly abandoned by them at the last second, when they offered up to the general public the only compelling feature of an otherwise mid-range phone. Without Facebook Home exclusivity, the First crashed and burned on arrival. That was literally the worst example you could make.
