I agree partially. Average consumers are always going to go with the front runner. iPad firmly holds that position. But, Sheep get tired just like the shepherds, it just takes longer for them to realize it. iPad is absolutely dominating in two segments, screen resolution and apps. Apps aren’t As big of a deal since android covers most of them and windows rt has the full web which covers most needs via a browser. The screen res is something that filters down to sheep from blogs like these, only techies see the difference. There are no other key differentiators. I’m sure you can try and argue your way to one if you try hard but you’ll have to try really really hard (please do it’ll be fun:)
The point is that there is a lot of choice now, and that’s not good for a company with a bad sheep to shepherd ratio. It’s ba a a a dddd
If the display does not accurately display colors…. why is it “The best of the best. Perfect.” The source for that quote is here
David… I enjoy your writing, but your words and scores are almost always out of sync. Don’t mean to be harsh but you guys are sorely missing the likes of Joanna Stern. The Verge needs to get better at reviewing all devices fast. I like this site but more and more I come here and window shop and go somewhere else for news I can read. Don’t be the Fox news of tech. Fox makes money but Fox sucks!!
