Looking at the top phone sales list link, I fail to see how HTC won’t be on the top 10 global smartphone sales list like you say. The top list is the top 10 for mobile phone sales: not smatphones. The “Worldwide Smartphone Sales to End Users” table is the second one and it only has 5 names – the lowest of which is at 7.8 million. I don’t know what comes after that 7.8 million but I’d imagine that HTC would be in the top 10 smartphone sales list (don’t have a link to prove that though)
