I love Netflix but big cable is not their friend no matter what the cable vp says. I get throttled for running Netflix. My roadrunner 10 mbps connection drops all the time since signing up to Netflix via Roku. Before, that never happened. In fact I was generally running 12-18 mbps consistently. They know what is coming and going on their networks and adjust as they see fit. I am waiting for a wireless company to step up and offer consistent high speed broadband buckets. That way I can buy 50 gbs @20 mbps speed for any device I sign in with. That should be good for a month but I’m just dreaming aren’t I?

I guess my question in all of this is who called Customs? I know ITC has the information on the patent violation but who called Customs and told them that these phones may violate the terms and to stop them from entering the country. It would seemingly be obvious that it would be Apple’s attorneys but I wonder. I mean, Apple is not releasing their next iteration until later this year so they should not be concerned over this phone, right? Jealousy? Just feeling bitchy? Maybe LG or ZTE were jealous over the fanfare HTC is getting and they called in. It has definitely played hell with HTC’s stock price. My son got his before this crap went down and I have to say it is a pretty sweet phone.
