I love TAT, when RIM acquired them it was a very bittersweet moment for me as I want RIM to succeed and TAT could really help them there but as I had just switched from a BB to Android I was using some of their live wallpapers and they were endlessly entertaining. But with newer versions of Android they no longer work :( All this to say that I agree and think TAT has elite level programming and design skills to really lift BB up.

And even if everyone didn’t switch over to BB it would finally force the others to try to win corporate accounts on real merits other than “no one wants to use a Blackberry because they suck…”

BTW my first smartphone was a Blackberry Bold 9000, it was state of the art at it’s time and I chose it over an iPhone 3G even though I didn’t need it for business reasons, in my opinion it was a better phone. RIM has done it before, and hopefully they will do it again.

I really don’t understand why some people seem to want RIM and Blackberry to go away. Everyone in the world knows that Blackberry is late to the party but that doesn’t mean you should root against them! It should just give you more reasons to want them to succeed. Think of what could happen in mobile if Apple, Google, Microsoft, and RIM all had legitimate claims to making the best smartphone on the planet and they were forced to consistently innovate to stay alive! If Blackberry gets back in the game and Microsoft raises theirs to the level they are capable by the end of the year, mobile technology is about to get really exciting.

Honeywell most definitely has wifi connected thermostats and many HVAC systems are capable of online and even iPad and iPhone control
