Freedom of speech protections have their limits. “Speech integral to criminal conduct,” for example, isn’t protected, at least in America, and hasn’t been for a long time.
That’s probably because Google hasn’t updated the Hangouts app to pull in the old G+ Messenger messages yet. This gives us access to our old conversations while allowing us to use the new Hangouts app.
