I use a thumb-drive linux (Puppy), a macbook air, an android phone, an iPod touch, A windows desktop, I occasionally use a Windows Phone 7, a Wii, a PS3, an Apple TV, and a Google TV. And I still call myself the "average consumer." But seriously, I'm all but a professional. So if I look like a moron, it's probably because I'm still trying to make heads or tails of the last Vergecast. (Which is an amazing thing worth the disk space and 2 hrs. a week of your life.)

I own a WP7 and have never had a problem. You know what I use my iPod touch for? Games. Sure, having Temple Run and Logos Quiz and Cut the Rope on my phone would be great, but the icon screen is boring to me. Have you considered other people’s opinions? The iPhone is a great choice, but it isn’t perfect. No phone is PERFECT, it just doesn’t happen. On a more related note, this patent sucks, and I kind of want to play with a One X.

That’s the point of the “Cave Johnson here.” part. But yeah, it’s pretty awesome.

I think that the new Nexus lacking a menu button is a signal to developers to ditch the menu button. I think in a year, two at most, we’ll see the menu button go away, and anything requiring it will just have to use the on-screen menu button: which is to say, will be deemed obsolete.

FOCUS, please, I’m sure there’s a Mountain Lion article around here somewhere.
Back to WP, it is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to buy than a nice Android phone or an iPhone.

This UI only shows up if you get to a list of 45 items (ex. Music App, Right Swipe on Start Screen, etc.) then tap on a letter header that shows up. It isn’t perfect, but it functions fine, and can be totally avoided.

it’s also at XoticPC, under Sager/Clevo.
