I’m sure it’ll be a great console and frankly, as long as it’s not cumbersome, design doesn’t matter all that much, but Microsoft sure is continuing with its blah design for the XBox! I have a feeling the PS4 will look better.

Funny how NYC is actually becoming, in relation to places like Shanghai or Doha, what London or Paris were to New York in the early 20th century : the established world cities with great timeless architecture and great culture, in contrast to the fast growing, boundary pushing and still unsophisticated newcomers.

I’ll give Shanghai a pass. But the tacky, nouveau riche cultural deserts that are Dubai, Doha and the like have a long way to go.

Also, they just should have made the rooftop of the new WTC go up to 1 776 feet, or something that looks like a rooftop (say a bunch of semi empty stories if the market isn’t there for it). As it stands, that building doesn’t make much of a statement, with the Willis tower still really being the ‘’biggest office tower’’ in the US (and the Willis Tower is pretty far from the tallest building in the world). That fighting about the length of the spire is just weak. Let’s call it what it is, a ridiculous c*ck measuring exercise. This is the US. Make it big. Win the c*ck contest.

When people talk about the tallest ’’buildings’’, they usually leave out the CN tower like structures. It may be arbitrary, but it’s common. There’s some logic to it though. An office building the height of the CN Tower would be much more imposing than the actual CN tower.

Would be nice. My 32gb iPhone is always almost full (I try to keep 1 gb free at all times). It’s really the audio that pushes it to the storage limit for me. I don’t play music or listen to many podcasts on my Nexus 7, and have more than I need with the 16gb storage.
