The 3D is part of Earth not Google Maps on iOS.

And yea it is bad.

The 3D shit was just a nitpick against Apple the real complaints were POI and general inaccuracies.

Honestly both have issues. All mapping services do. The issue with Apple is that they replaced something with more POI and better accuracy for something prettier.

Come end of 2013 though I don’t think it’ll be an issue for either map.

Also Apple doesn’t need you getting offended for them.
