The cable companies need to totally revamp their sales model. TV needs to be ala carte now. I cannot stand being forced to buy a ‘package’ that really is designed for their bottom line, not my viewing pleasure.

That reminds me of a Socialistic approach…as in “Here. THIS will make you happy – because we said so”.

I agree with the removal of the home button, ala Galaxy Nexus. This makes that a location for gestures and more, plus elongating the screen for more of a widescreen feel. I don’t agree with an additional row of icons. iOS is already a boring visual app launcher, so unless they add widgets, iOS would need a total visual revamp for this to look elegant.

Still too small of a screen. It needs to be the same screen physical dimensions as a proper 4" model (Nexus S. OG Galaxy series). That’s the perfect screen size.

So, in other words, you want it to behave like Google+? That’s exactly what Google+ does. People are forgetting how advanced it is.

I filed a complaint recently with Sprint about slow data speeds. Today I got a call from a Sprint Representative. Apparently, Sprint is forwarding all network complaints to the FCC….I know this because I didn’t do that with my complaint and I asked. They are being as transparent as they can to resolve these issues rapidly.

They let me know that the Dallas market will have the Network Vision upgrades completed in 90 days.

Wow!

Never had a cell phone company ‘tell on themselves’ to the FCC and follow up with the complaint personally. That was impressive.

I definitely like him…..he’s incredibly versatile.

They need to find an actor we have not seen or heard of. A nobody…..that way we can be totally shocked. Anything else is less than ideal.

I love my iPhone 4S but am not ready to part with my PC due to what I use it for work-wise (compatibility). So I would LOVE to seeiCloud show up on a PC.

It’s not that I don’t want a Mac – I simply don’t need one enough to spend $1,000 – just to have some cloud services.

I am sure that your iPhone, Mac and iPad have nothing to do with your opinion of control.

I just moved to Sprint last year, coming from a short stint with AT&T and ten years of ‘indentured servitude’ with T-Mobile.

I agree that the data speed is slow, but my market is Dallas/Ft Worth, and it isn’t all that bad. I travel to Columbus, Ohio four times a year and service with Sprint is far better there than with AT&T.

My biggest gripe with AT&T was dropped calls and with one exception (one tiny spot in Dallas) I never drop calls with Sprint. I dropped calls DAILY with AT&T…..and I tried different phones and brands of phones….so it wasn’t the hardware. GSM simply has more of a limitation with holding a call compared to CDMA.

Go for it, Sprint. I love what you’re doing!

Oh, by the way, I’ve had unlimited data wherever I was…..so now if I leave Sprint, I will be on a tiered plan…..so I think I’m staying.

Agreed on the soft rubberized back. The GNex feels wonderful in the hand. Just a touch too large, though.

The Nexus S to me is one of the finest ‘in the hand’ phones I’ve ever used. Imagine if that phone was redone properly (metals, more solid build materials, awesome camera)…lights out.
