Sprints shareholders are still worthless. The increased Softbank bid cost $3 Billion that would have went to improving the network, it will go to the shareholders instead. As Verizon and AT&T proved its the network that brings in customers.
Despite both companies putting out very anti consumer policies that just nickle and dime you, people have no choice if its a better network. Can you imagine Dish network trying to stream movies to your devices with the current infrastructure? Softbank promised a better network and they better deliver. Still glad Dish lost this fight.

So the company that Sprint cofounded, saved from bankruptcy, and recently took payments from isn’t supporting Sprint? Yeah, I would sue the hell out of them too. Obviously the Clear people are just looking at the stick price and not the future. They want to recoup as much as they can and sell it off.

Still Cook outline the technological reasons why Apple didn’t want to increase the screen size. You know once they solve those problems that didn’t kill its profitably per device they will release the 5 in phone.
Apperantly time doesn’t mean a damn thing to Apple. Apple never innovates now, Samsung is their real world test case. It took a damn year to release a LTE iPhone after Sammy did. It’s always “next year”. Apple is seeing how people use NFC for more than just payments.

Crappy software, UI, nonexistent marketing killed that phone. I did see one in the wild. The owner though was like over 6 ft.

Ha, that’s how I feel as a Sprint customer. Softbank would actually be better than Dish. They got to where there are at due to competive pricing. All I here about Dish is expanding its brand and bundles which mean = $$$ to my bill.
Despite the numbers, I still hate how Verizon nickle and dimes the customer and its policies. At least everyone knows AT&T is worse policy wise.

It’s a satellite company! If people don’t understand that simple fact then they deserve the future mess.
Softbank is a Japanese wireless carrier that turned around Vodafone when they bought them out. They got there being competive. They have plans to improve Sprints network. It requires Clearwire.
What does Dish offer? Synergy on double play bundles. As a customer Dish is the worst buyer there is. Don’t forget if they do get Sprint the combine new company would be in MASSIVE DEBT! Gee, I wonder why my Sprint bill is suddenly so high?
Yeah, Dish is being a dick plus all their CEO can do is publish Propganda about national security risks despite the fact that the no. 1 carrier is partly foreign owned.

Heh, that’s for damn sure.
As a current customer of Sprint I say screw you minority shareholder – almost every Sprint customer is against Dish. Good luck with Sprint if there’s no customers. Softbank talks about improving the network and Dish just wants bundle plans.
At this point I’m already tired of being dicked around by US companies that care about the days stock price. It would be a breath of fresh air to see how Softbank would compete.

It’s been embarrassing for our Senators lately. They really had a hard time telling those slanty eyed Asians apart. Without knowing any history people would have assumed Softbank was a Chinese company not Japanese by all these fearful senators. I’m actually amazed that they haven’t point out that Son is actually Korean
I guess it’s okay buying a Chinese made product not a Chinese made product owned by a Chinese Company.

First and foremost the US governments concerns are with CHINA. Communist China not freaking Japan. It’s dealings with Huawei and ZTE that Congress is wrongly concerned with and anyone who does business with them.
Second Ergen is an idiot. His big culturally argument is that Softbank will send Japanese only speaking people here in the US to build a network. Concerning his argument that its an insult to Sprints engineers that they can’t build a network is laughable. As any customer knows: Sprints Network blows.
If Sprints network gets improved the who gives a F. Let the Japanese build a faster network because it will be based in the US where it will be used.
